What is UVC dosimeter?

UVC dosimeter is a dosimeter to show when a surface or area has beed exposed
to a certain amount of UVC radiation.
The indicatro change colourat a certain energy level which can be related to a long reduction of microbiology samples.

UVC dosimeter can be used as a safe and efficient tool to verify UVC exposure of a surface or an instrument for example in hospitals, laboratiories, food processing facilities and other objects.

Principle

The technolgoy consisat of a photocromatic ink which is stimulated by certain wave lengths of radiation.
Energy required to induce the color change can be adjusted.

Clinically proven to indicate by color change an accumulated UV-C dose that correlates to a 3-log reduction of MRSA and C. diff at 10 000 and 46 000 µJ/sq. cm, respectively.
